Princess Probz

I think it is obvious that there is a princess culture within society when we have a twitter handle @PrincessProbz. This twitter handle is sponsored by a merchandise company called princessprobz.com and they support this princess ideology. @PrincessProbz tweets range from, "If I put vodka in a water bottle does it still have calories?" to, "Does this come in glitter?" To me this is suggesting complete ignorance and disregard for reality, but the bitch comes in with tweets like, "People who take time to express their anger at an anonymous twitter account are also people that are on ." Although this is funny (and true), it still feeds into the stereotypes that we learned in class, which are way different then the list that came to mind when I heard the word "princess' before. When I heard the word princess beauty came to mind, and beauty involves personality as well as looks, however, I guess princess is more of a degrading term then I originally thought. It's liberating however that women have taken a term used to beat them down and embraced the meaning; it's kind of like a middle finger to the world.

here is the link to the twitter page...
