Some might have said that I was a princess growing up because of being the only child and being adopted, so people though that was extra special. Even though I was the only child I didn't always have the best of the best stuff. My parents didn't want me growing up and being a spoiled little princess. Every once and a while I did get things that I wanted, but it wasn't all the time. I am glad to this day that my parents choose to raise me like that. But we all know that parents do splurge on their kids once in a while. One day when I have a girl (hopefully) I will know how to treat her just right and not over spoil her. I don't want to have a high maintence daughter who thinks that she is this huge special princess.
I fully believe that the parent have ALOT of influence how there little girls act so much like princesses and the way they act. I was very surprised that our in class conversation didn't talk a lot about the parents, because felt like with every other topic we aimed everything at the parents. With this topic I thought that the parents played a much bigger influence in this topic then any of the other ones. Parents these days have really changed and let there little girls get a way with so much! I would post a video of an example but it would give a little away for my group project! I just can't believe that parents would let there kids do, say, and act these days. It would have never really happened 15 years ago. It just upsets me a little that parents do let them get a way with so much. I would never let this happen with any of my kids. No one can ever be spoiled for their whole life so why make them think they can be. Ill leave you all with this and you think about if you would let your little girl look like this at the age of 6.
