Super heroes

Post 2- Super heroes
Super heroes today have a lot of influence on children. Children want to idolize
those they see on TV and more times than not super heroes are those people. When
I was growing up, I really liked the power rangers, teenage mutant ninja
turtles, and x-men. When I was little, there was nothing better than watching
my favorite heroes on TV. But as I grew up, my parents would explain to me what
was real and what was not. Super heroes do and have what most people cannot.
But as a young child, I did not think about those things. But what kid will?
The best answer to that is none. So how can children learn what super heroes
really are? This is again where the parents need to step in and educate their
children on what is real and what is not. I feel that today parents are getting
lazy and not telling their children everything that needs to be told. Parents
know that kids like to watch their super heroes and at different times parents
just thinks it’s easier to give them what they want. But how does this help the
child if they do not learn anything from what they are watching. This gives
parents a good opportunity to educate their children, but I feel parents are
not keeping up their end of the agreement. Never have I said super heroes are
bad, I’m just saying that parents need to educate their children on what is
real what’s not.
